View Full Version : Help with Animated gif on Samsung A800

Hello.
I'm trying to use an animated screensaver on my A800 phone. I did a search and did the following:

- Create DCIM folder on the transflash card.
- Create a subfolder named: 100SSPIC
- The animated gif that I'm using is less than 128KB.

I downloaded some of the animated gif's that I have from **********.com. When I move the transflash card to my phone, I go to: My pictures and select memory card.

When it tries to give me a preview, I only see a white screen with a small red x.
I cannot move or copy the file to my phone.

I would like to know if anyone else had this problem. If so, I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

Thanks!

I think you need to upload it instead of putting it on your card.

Actually, I think they need to be PMD's. I don't believe the A800 can play GIFs, but I could be wrong.
