So I just got my first cell phone ever; it's a Vi660. Now I searched the forums and there are literally 1,000 posts on ringtones, so I thought it'd be easier to just ask outright.
How can I get a ringtone, like a cat meowing, onto my cell phone without having to pay anything?

Well, the ringtones are sent to your phone through uploaders like Focus (http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/). Focus sends you a text message with a link to download the ringtone. So if you don't have a text messaging plan or Vision, it will cost you. If you have, say, unlimited text and Vision, it doesn't cost you anything.
The only other alternative is a data cable, if one's available for your phone.

Alright, I have Focus. I downloaded my own wallpaper, actually. So now I'm looking for that simple meow ring tone that I can't seem to find anywhere.

I have the meow mix commercial ... and also a simple meow ... but it's real short ...
