Ok, my daughter received another text message today. The number must be a used one and these texts are coming from a site that likes to send a "quote of the day" text message. The number that showed up was 253789. Is there anyway to find out who this is and unsubscribe or block just this number from the phone? Thanks

I don't think there is, though I'm sure there are other people who will be more helpful with this. From what I've read, once you get signed up with those things, it's near-impossible to cancel them.

Yup. Same here. What I did was open a trouble ticket to address this issue. I got mine resolved in a few days. What you can also do is sign into your account on the web and block messages coming from this sender. I am now blocking sms.ac (scams).

From there you can block up to 20 numbers, email addresses, or entire domains. - sheureka

Sure thing! I hate spam. Here's how it goes (don't know how to copy an image in here):

1. Login to your account.
2. Go to "My Online Tools".
3. Go to "Text Messaging".
4. Go to "Settings & Preferences".
5. Scroll down to "For SMS Only".
6. Fill out the form "SMS Blocking".
