opening attachements on pcs mail on my phone

Hi, I have a samsung VI660 phone and I sent myself (via my sprint email) a picture from the internet that I wanted to download. I can see on my inbox that the message shows an attachment, but I can't figure out how to open the attachment. I have opened one before that was sent from one person's phone to mine, and that seemed to be okay, but I can't open one from the internet. Any suggestions? Thanks...

You could just send it to yourself using Focus: http://www.sprintusers.com/focus/


Or if you have a PictureMail account, upload it from your computer to your account online.

I was curious about this. From what i have read it seems like people should be able to email you a .doc or .xls or the like to your sprintpcs.com email account and you should be able to download the attachment to the phone. However, similar to the opening post i can see the attachment icon next to the message header in the inbox listing but nowhere do i see the ability to download attachment.

I don't believe this is possible. If you use the Biz Connection, then you can download certain attachments up to a certain size, though I can't remember what the limits are. You can also access your My Documents folder and all sorts of other little goodies. But as far as opening attachments through your PCS Mail, I don't believe that's possible on a non-smart phone. However, I've never used my PCS Mail, not even once, so I'm only going from guesstimations and what I've read around here.

the sprint email client is pretty weak in my opinion...it's the reason I went out and bought emailviewer from reqwireless last summer before they stopped selling it...with emailviewer I can view MSFT attachments, PDFs, etc easily on my phone...the regular email client can't handle any of that stuff...
