If you're referring to 6700, then do the following:
1. Go to Text Messaging Inbox
2. Menu, Tools, Options
3. Highlight Text Messages
4. Uncheck the option with the Callback number

Hope this helps!

are you guys serious? its so easy.. heres how to do it on the 650...

go to your SMS inbox, press "new", now you should be in compose. where you put "To:" and it has a drop down arrow next to it. press the "menu" button by the red "end" button (using the keyboard now), then scroll down and you'll see "callback number". then you can show your number, not show it, or use other.

It doesn't work on the treo 600, so back to the drawing board for me. I'll remember that, good info, thx.
