Just thought I'd share with people that, Sirius is no longer playing HipHop on thru its channel on Sprint.

Well isnt that something else. I listen to the dance station alot...but liked hot jams. I would of liked to seen shade 45 and hip hop nation too but owell. That is a huge blow to the radio. Lets hopes its just for work....If not ill be sending a message to sprint asking for a refund. How can you take away the ONLY station with rap on it.

I dont see why they would take it off in the first place. It's the rap station that had no cussing...and well your paying for it,If you dont like it turn the channel.??? Im lost

I'm actually very happy about this, although i'm probably the minority in this topic. When sprint bought the rights to some of sirius' channels, it was on the stipulation that they would be censored. This, understandably, pissed off sirius subs because censorship is one of the reasons for a sub. Over at the sirius forum, we've been writing letters like crazy to get our cuss words back, and therefore nullifying the deal on that channel. Hope this helps, and get sirius so you can enjoy all the rap stations in the intended format; stereo and uncensored.

I requested a refund from Sprint & Sirius the other day! No way am I going to stand for this. They took it off for some real wacked out BS.
I thought something was wrong a few weeks ago when I tuned into Sirius and clicked on Hip Hop and they were playing the BEST of Classic Soul jams. I figured it was a mistake and that Hip Hop would return....NOPE! So they can take that $6.95 and eat it!
Sirius played us to the fullest. How can you offer a service with No Hip Hop? They Don't even have an current R&B channel on the cell phone. All of it is Old school and classic soul now. What do they think the bulk of the poeple who will buy this service is 50 and over? I'm 27, and I like to listen to the classic soul and stuff, but come on now. That's what we have FM radio for.
