OK, this doesn't make sense to me.....a little background, I have several songs saved on my SD card which I listen to via Windows Media Player...no problem. I went into my settings on the phone and on the main ringtone, the songs were all recognized and I could choose them for ringtones. So, I then went into my contacts to choose other songs for custom ringtones on some of my contacts.....BUT, the songs were not listed as an option....only the tones that came with the phone were there! Not a happy girl!

So, does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Are you unable to use other tones for your contact list? I can't understand why it would make a difference.....

Possibly a third party application that I can use to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I haven't used an i600, but we 535 users have a similar problem. Instead, we can't assign any songs from the SD card as any kind of ringtone. Is there any way to go to the song itself and assign it to anything from there?
