I don't get videos in my Picture Mail very often. I can think of maybe five in my life at the most, all occurring this year for obvious reasons. In the past, videos launched from Vision. If I wanted to go back to watch it, I would have to go back to the Picture Mail message, launch Vision and redownload the video. Tonight, however, I got a video through Picture Mail and it gave me an option to save it to my phone. It downloaded to my Saved to Phone folder under My Videos. No more having to relaunch Vision and redownload the video. I tried it on another video I had gotten the other night and it worked just the same. Swanky.

Oh, I should also note that before tonight, when I would launch a video, the progress window would say something about the video being downloaded to the My Videos folder. Videos just weren't there afterwards. Ever. The progress window still seems to show the same thing, but this time it really means it.

I don't think this would be just my phone. But maybe it is and all along, everyone else has experienced this little luxury.

"swanky" huh? :p

I think it might be related to the picture mail having a subject line now... they are doing some 'upgrades' to make it more standard like other carriers... or so it seems.

But I have never used the video mail feature and only use picture mail to take pics and send to my gmail account. So I wouldn't have noticed these changes without a post or two here ;)
