I know it has been statrd quit a few times that we are going to be getting dual mode nexte year. Is there any new information on development of hardware?

i believe it may be longer than that, but i'd love to see one in a year. that'd be great

They should be available next year. But no other information has come up. There were rumors that LG was going to make the first dual-mode phone but that is very highly doubtful. Unfortunately, nothing new. :(

If they do that wonder what kind of plan Sprint is planning on ? I usually take a wait n see approach I am planning on a phone for my wife for Christmas , but have to see the plan first.

Honestly, I'm not too worried about that! I need dual mode! I'm getting a BOOST MOBILE phone for my DC because I don't think it is worth it to migrate to NEXTEL for the year it will take for dual mode to come out. I can just recharge it when I need it and be done with it.
