I have a Sprint family plan with four phone. We have Vision on all four phones. I pay $10 for Vision on one phone and $5 each for the other three. Well it turns out, I'm the only person who ever uses Vision. I'm one of the $5 Vision phones. What will happen if I call Sprint and ask them to drop $10 Vision and two of the $5 Vision coverage? Will this change anything about my plan? This wouldn't cause me to have to have another 2 year plan would it? Would it change any other parts of my contract like unlimited PCS to PCS? I'm finding I'm paying way too much for our Sprint phones and just trying to find some areas to cut back.

u should be able to do this without any problems. They would drop the $10 from main line, the 2 $5 from other 2 lines and keep yours. Charging you only $5/mo for it. Sometimes they will tell you to call back near the end of your billing cycle or that it will be dropped after your cycle restarts. Just tell them to drop it immediately if you really dont use it. Then call back in a day or 2 just to comfirm if it has been dropped.

they may ask to switch your line to become the primary line, and tag you with the $10 Vision charge. that is what they are supposed to do (can't have a $5/mo Vision without a $10-15/mo Vision primary). or they may just let it go... and let you keep the $5/mo Vision... sorta depends on who you get...

if you want to max your chances of being allowed to keep the $5/mo Vision, I would cancel the 2 $5/mo Visions first, then on another call, cancel the $10/mo one (and don't mention your remaining Vision phone at all).

if they *do* ask you to become the primary and switch to a $10/mo Vision, be careful that it isn't the new $10/mo Vision option that doesn't include any SMSs.

I'm guessing they'll ask you to switch your to be the primary number on the account. If you currently have unlimted SMS grandfathered, you risk losing that too. Good luck!!

just email e-care and explain it to them, they tend to be more user-friendly than calling customer service.

Yeah, if you have *anything* grandfathered... I wouldn't even mention the word "plan" to a CSR :hee:

I'm so afraid of losing my unlimited SMS / vision :p -- Even though I probably only send ~200 texts a month - hehe
