Wondering if now that Sprint and Nextel have merged will Sprint begin offering the TeleNav service that Nextel offers? It's a navigational system that gives turn by turn directions via your cell phone. All that is required is Java software?
Anyone heard anything? As I travel quite extensively for my job, this turned out to be a very VALUABLE tool and would hate to loose it now that I'm upgrading to the Treo 650.

As far as I am aware, Telenav (and/or Garmin GPS) is ONLY available to Multimedia phones:
MM-A700
MM-A800
MM-7400
MM-5600
MM-535
MM-A880
IP-A790 (Maybe this phone?? Not sure though.)
I've used Telenav on my 7400 and liked it quite a bit (recently used it on a trip to Galveston, TX... a distance of about 300 miles from where I live).

It is available depending on the model phone that you have. I know its available for the Sanyo 5600, 7400 and 8300. I don't think it is available on any of the other phones. This has been discussed in a previous thread.

It's worth noting, if you don't have time to browse through the main GPS thread Mad posted, TeleNav is also available for the 535 now. Like a charm :tu:
