the $150 was a security deposit that will be returned to your account in 12 months. you can change phones if you like, keep in mind you will have to pay full price for one at this point though.
lol i was just about to say ebay too. thats my favorite. wow phone actually has the word ebay in its dictionary nowadays :) didn't have to add it to this one like my part phones

Are you sure what you saying?, I just went to Sprint today ask them if i exchange my PM-8200 for another new phone could they give me a credit for exchanging my PM-8200, he said Yes. He said they always do. I dont know which Sprint Store you went, but you could still get Credits off your old phone for a new phone. :)

The rep was talking about the buy back program, and they will give you $50. The credit will be added to your monthly bill.

no not that, he said instant credit, you know like instant savings. I did that for my last phone. They took off $100 for my Pm-8200, so i save $100. The price for me was $302, they took off $100 so i pay only $204, for my PM-8200. So it was not that.

the instant credit is for a new line of service or for the phone upgrade program ($75 after 1 yr, $150 after 2yr). if the phone doesn't qualify for an upgrade, the only option is the buy back program. if it a newer phone, i wouldn't recommend the buy back program, i would sell it on ebay.
