I just got a telephone call that was a prerecorded message from someone by the name of Paul:

" Hi, this is Paul from the prize claim center. We have great news for you regarding the contest entry form you submitted to win a brand-new automobile. We pulled your ticket; you guys have actually won one of our top four major prizes, and it would be in your best interest to give us a call back as soon as possible. We can be reached at 877-256-7894. Do not hesitate to give us a call back, folks. We have great news for you."

This is the second time I have gotten a call from this number, the first time I hung up, but this time I stayed on throughout the entire message.

Here is the phone number that shows up on my Sprint Caller ID: 708 539 2373. When I call that number I get a recording that says that number is not in service. Googling this number yields no useable results.

When I google 877-256-7894, the callback number that was given, I get a ton of results, all from fraud warning websites:

I would like to know if anyone else is getting these types of calls on their Sprint phones.

I would also like to know how it is possible for these lowlifes to fool the caller ID system.

So, be warned, and I hope I am the only one getting these calls.
