Stay on them is the only thing I can tell you.Did they say if they have any coming in???Call cust care and tell them and see if they can help?Tell them what the store said and see if there is a way for them to help.I have saw them do that from time to time for some of my customers.Good Luck.

{UPDATE}
I took my phone in to the Sprint Store today for the camera problem. They can't fix mine either. At least they ordered me a new 7400 instead of some of the other crap phones that are in the lineup right now. It will arrive in 5-8 days.

They should offer you a comporable phone. The only phones that I would accept would be MM-A800 or MM-535 nothing under that. 5600 is discontinued so it's going to be extremely difficult for you to find one. This is why Sprint should have waited for the release of the 9000 before they discontinued the 5600. Now many people are going to be unhappy because they can't get the same phone or atleast one with all the features. My friends A800 is defective and they didn't have any at the store and they offered him any phone in the store he wanted but he wanted his A8 so he decided to wait and I guess they are going to order him one. If I were you I would ask for a Treo 650 or a PPC-6600.

Well, I had the same problem as the OP and tried a factory reset. No-go. It doesn't work.
