Mine goes to vm alot, not all the time though. It does fade in and out, am waiting for a replacement - hopefully with a 8300. Probably just dreaming. . . .

I seen network issues do this, but if its not constant then it could be your phone.
I also seen accounts do this. We had to do a phone number change and it fixed it.

I did bring it to the store and they couldn't duplicate the problem, even though even the vm fades and you can't understand the message. My work rep is going to replace the phone for me because it's still under warranty.

Yeah, I have had this problem with my 8200 for awhile now...
That and it will go from 3/4 bars of signal to *no* bars of signal and then back up again.
I've taken it to the sprint store (albeit, before the merger and before the ESRP.) and they couldn't duplicate the problem...
Instead of arguing with them, I decided to hold out for an A920/A940.
