View Full Version : MP3-playable app possible/exists?

Hello all,

I'm posting in regards to my somewhat-new phone, a Samsung PM-A740. After looking around online, I discovered that it doesn't play MP3s (i'm primarily looking at them to use as ringtones). However, whenever I loaded an MP3 onto my phone and tried to play it, said came up with a webpage asking if I wanted to search for an application to play it with. This led me to wondering: is there any way to get it so that my phone can play MP3s?

If anyone has any information for me, it'd be much appreciated!

anyone...? the sound quality of these ridiculously small files is killing me.

there is no application anyone has writen, because I believe the APIs wont allow the programs to access the download folders...if you want to use mp3 ringers, you would need to get an MM type phone, which would be the Samsung A880, Sanyo 8300, etc.
