So I was flipping through Engadget and caught this story:

Cingular push-to-talk just around the corner

Looks like all you push-to-talk (PTT) fans won’t have much more fretting to do in the wake of Sprint’s supposed 2007/2008 shuttering of iDEN, since after months of murmuring, it looks like Cingular’s could possibly be introducing their take on push-to-talk at some point next month. As we understand it from unnamed Cingular insiders (and a little bit of phone forums trolling) the introduction will be with the Samsung D357 and possibly also the LG 7200. Looks like the new answer to “Where you at?” is “Cingular.”

Also, doesn't it seem that Cingular releases twice as many phones as other carriers?
