Precash is a joke. I laugh every time a customer comes in and pays the $5 or $7 fee.

i use to work for sprint for 2 yrs at a call center before our center switched to dtv cust service instead. about a year ago when i was still taking calls for them, clearpay customers with a certain credit class were not allowed to pay with a cc or check by phone. cash only or mail in your payment was the only option. thats if ur credit class was zf or something like that...

there are three credit classes that are not allowed to pay by credit card or check by phone. one is a former write off, second is someone with REALLY bad credit and the third is someone who's initial credit came back as possible fraud. most of those who paid by cc or check previously that can't any longer are the ones who were suspected fraud. your credit class will not be changed by any employee of sprint, you must pay your bills in full and on time to have the limitation removed over time.

I have an account with PCS and can pay with a cc on the other hand my husband who is a Sprint service tech (land line) and has a PCS account cannot pay using a cc anymore because of the merger. They would accept a check but no cc!! I was so mad and even the cs reps could not understand it!!
