I finally figured out how to make animations for the LG PM 325
Im usung a program called CMX studio.
This software converts the file to an animated PMD which are the files that the PM 325 uses. The program lets you do a lot.
I did a regular slide show with some random pics I had that were in the correct size format drag n drop them to the timeline in the CMX software and then export the file as a PMD.. then you can upload it to your phone using Rumkin and use it as a screensaver.
I took this a step further and added music to the file. I added MIDI but the program allows WAVs also.. ill have to see if that works also... I uploaded this file to the PM 325 and the animated PMD with MIDI gave me the option to use it as the animated pic that comes up when people call you so you can have ANIMATED CALLER ID!! WHoOoOO
ill see if i can get it down to a science and get it to work perfectly on the PM 325.. right now i have to work on pic size ect.. see if i cant get them to load faster... ill work on it
I know this phone isnt very popular .. but it is a great phone.. with a little help and research some of the disabled features can probably be enabled. If you want please let me know if you know anything about this phone or would like to figure out this phone.

no one ever figured out how to make it work on the LG phones... Iv asked many people and looked around doing lots of research...
No one that had the PM 325 could get animations to work on this phone that i ever talked too.. I discussed it with FloorMatt also...

OMG! I downloaded that last night and spent a good hour, past my bedtime :lol:, to try and make some animations for my phone. Still couldn't figure it out. Now I know how to do it. Thanks I hope it works when I get home tonight.

well I figured out that the animated pmd with music file will work on the phone but will not work correctly if set to be used for something...
but Iv made more screensavers and it works great! :D ... I hope it works for you also rufio! let me know

Sweetness. It took me a while longer but finally it worked. Now I gotta find something to fill the whole screen and try to animate that.

yeah.. wjay I did was I found a wallpaper for the PM 325 that was correctly size and worked off of it... I cant remember the size right now.. I know its on the forum somewhere..

Rose (a very kind user on here) had this as a GIF and needed it as a PMD for her new phone so I took the frames from the GIF and made them into a PMD. A PMD won't show up on here, so here's the gif (PMD is located at http://www.trickyspider.net/wallpapers/AnimatedRose.pmd -- too large to attach). They look exactly the same, just different formats.

I used CMX Studio, just like the OP. I think there was another great How-to posted months ago but I haven't been able to find it. But the OP's How-to is pretty darn good. I've been linking people to it all week. (:

I found these instructions in another forum ... read the whole thing as there are some "tricks" involved which may need to be applied to your phone ... I remember the key being the photo sizes need to be the size of your phone ... and keep it to 10 frames or less ... and don't try to make them go fast ...
