I just purchased a Sanyo 8300, what kind of Ringtones, screensavers, or other things can I do with this phone? There is an animated screensaver with fish but I cannot seem to find any more on the internet, how can I find animated screen savers for this phone.

Well I have the same phone, and ive been messing with it for about a week now, I do not know how to change the fish screen savor...
But U can upload .3gp files for animations like on searching for service, and readylink calls, and as for ringers, it doesn't support mp3s, but theres a forum around here that tells u how to convert mp3s to m4a and it'll play those, but u'll use ur memory up fast, u get like 2 megs shared with the internal camera, and video camera memory.
But u can upload midi's to it, And ive yet to find out what polophonic or whatever the other format is, gl and if u find a way to get rid of those fish plz let me know. :wavey:

Animated screen savers are in PMD format, which you can do with CMX Studio. There are some here: http://sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76482. Not that many, and those are LARGE files, but I'll have some smaller ones uploaded later this weekend.
I also think you can buy animated wallpapers from Sprint for certain phones. Not sure about yours in particular.

okay i found out how to get rid of those darn fish... menu, settings, display, animation, standby, select the preset 1 and then scroll... you can use a video you've recorded on your phone or you can connect to sprint and d/l others... i'm sure there's websites out there with others to choose from that are free. hope this helps

Hey Ill keep you guys posted on my site and official launch, but one of our main focuses is gonna be animations. Weve mastered cmx studio and found some of the smoothest, best ways to make alot of visually appealing animations.
