(CHANGE THESE SETTING ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING)
##786# - Phone Usage & Master Reset (##RTN#)
##3282# - Data Provisioning (##DATA#)
##33284# - Debug Menu (##DEBUG#)
Msl: 631430 ,vi2300 only
Works on the phone in the sprint store too.
First your going to need the data cable for your phone and the Drivers http://www.futuredial.com/Support/S_home.asp,
if you dont have one, get one (They run 10-15 bucks)
Secondly your going to need BitPim 0.7 found at: http://bitpim.sourceforge.net Download it, and install it.
ONCE YOU HAVE THOSE, HERES HOW YOU FIND YOUR MSL!!
When your in BitPim, go to the File system Tab, and click 'nvm' That will open another list of stuff, click 'nvm' again from the new menu. Now double-click 'nvm_0002' About 8 lines down on the right-hand side your going to see your 4-digit security code (this will be the last 4-digits of your phone number, unless you changed your code) The next thing you'll see is a set of 6-digit numbers, that’s your OTSKL, and the next 6-digit number is your MSL.
You can set your ACCOLC or access overload code, its basically the priority of your call when u register at the tower 1-6 is for normal use, 7-9 Doctors and other Emergency personnel, and 10-15 Gov't only. Some sanyo phones are set to 9 by default
You can set your Set Slot Index to 2, this allows you to "ping" towers quiker
1 lowest mostly default and 7 highest.

would it lower your battery quicker to increase the ping rate to the towers?
also are there any legal issues with changing the ACCOLC to "9" for example since some sanyo phones will default to that anyway?
