I paid a couple bucks to purchase a ringer from a website. The website "emailed" the ringer directly to my phone. The ringer works great and all; i really like it.

I was wondering if there is a way for me to transfer the ringer from my phone to my pc. Then I can "store" the ringer for the future. Like if my phone ever dies and I need a new one, I can simply transfer the ringer off my pc onto my new phone.

I have a sanyo RL-4920 phone. I see that Sanyo sells a USB data cable. Can I buy this and simply "cut & paste" the ringer to my pc much like I cut & paste images off a digital camera to my pc? I simply want to store my ringer for future phones.

I'd really appreciate any help or knowledge that you can pass on to me. Thx.

It depends on what kind of ringer file it is. I believe that the 'ringer' section only recognizes .mid files, so if your ringer is not that type you cannot transfer it. You can prolly go through the 'view filesystem' section and find it there and do a right click save it to you PC
