Well, I had three MM7400's on my account. I sold them in anticipation for the MM8300's. I got them 2 weeks ago finally after a long wait. I activated one silver one on my account and used it for like maybe 30 minutes total. I was not happy. Cannot use bitpim with it nor was I not able to use my data cable to connect my apple powerbook to the net. I was really ticked off at that and what made matters worse was that I had to head away for 3 weeks on business. I went and ordered a Sanyo MM 5600, and got a pair of 7400's to use. Back on the net with those.

I just wanted to say to all that if you plan on using an MM 8300 for data - not possible :(

Anywho.. now i gotta find someone to buy the two unused blue mm8300's i have and the slightly used silver mm8300 with 30 minutes on it.... Gotta offset the cost of my new phones...

Anyways any questions on the phones or my reviews justdyfferent (at) mac.com is my email...
