Here is my most recent attempt to get FIMF for second line, and 7PM nights. This correspondence was between a couple reps, and goes as far back as a month or two. I dont usually call in or email, for fear someone will wreck my plan. Here goes:

Aron,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. As you have
noted, if I am such a long time valued customer, why
aren't these things available to me? I have several
friend that have gotten the FIMF added to all lines,
not just the primary at no charge, and also not
affecting their contracts. Also they were able to get
7 pm nights for free at no charge, and also not
affecting their contract. I have previously inquired
about these and other things, the inconsistent answers
I get from various reps has got to be one of the most
frustrating part of being a customer with your
company.

And now, an email I sent previously and was able to get free nights at 7, in exchange for changing my AA. Which this most current rep says cant be done.

Dear Adam,

I apologize for the inconsistent support that you are receiving from
our
various support channels. We pride ourselves in being focused on
customers like you who make our company successful. I apologize that
your experience with this order has not been consistent with that
philosophy.

I would like to mention that the First Incoming Minutes Free option
added to all the lines are special promotions that are offered to
customers who are selected in a random basis.

However, we are currently not offering any such offer. We are sure to
come more promotions after the Sprint Nextel merger. If we come up
with
any free incoming minutes offer, I will be glad to assist you further.

We appreciate your relationship with us, and look forward to serving
you
in the future.

all i can say is that i have fimf on all 8 of my lines. he is shooting you a line. keep calling and i'm sure you will find someone to add it.

Ok, so I have to say that persistence pays off. I called last night and was told that "retention" is the dept. that has to add this. However at this time, I would not be eligible for this. Well, today I called after work, and was told the same thing, I asked if I could be transferred, and they did! So after about 10 minutes of the rep looking with her sup. also looking, they located the code and added it to my second line. Yippeeeeee. I also decided to push my luck and ask for free 7 pm nights, and was shot down. I asked if there were any other promotions at this time, and she said no other than the BS free one month texting. I guess I would have had more pull if I had been out of my AA, and threatening to really cancel. O well I guess in may I'll be fishing for the 7 pm or maybe even 6pm free nights and a 10% loyalty discount instead of 5. Whoever said retention is dead, is still alive and kicking
