Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find a MPEG-4 to 3GP converter. I followed Deval's instructions for converting movies, but when I downloaded Stoik Video Converter 2 it had no option to select a "Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V2" like he instructed. I was thinking the option I am looking for might be in the Pro version of the program instead of the free version, but I have no way of tell. I have many movies I am currently trying to convert and add to the site since **********.com has been down for a while now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if your having the same problem I had, but I got lost in the wording. When he said make sure you have"AVI for PC medium (320x240,15fps, indeo), I missed the part about clicking on edit profile. When I did that, I found video compressor and Apvc[MS MPEG-4V2] which worked.

Ignore the section about Stoik Video Converter. If you have an mpeg just drop it right into 3GP converter and it will work. I've done it plenty of times.

This is just about the only paragraph you need:
Make sure to extract the 3GP converter program into a folder on your desktop. This makes it easier to do the conversions. First run the Setup.exe program, and click on the drop down box to select english. Then highlight "General: 3GPP+AAC General Setting" and press "APPLY". This will pull up another box, which has a drop down with some options. Make sure to select "QCIF Normal quality 15fps Mono" from the drop down, and then drag your MPG/AVI file into the space where it says "Drag and Drop here". Click on the SELECT button, to pick a location to save your converted file. Once you do that, you just wait for the conversion to finish.
