THIS IS THE FAQS ABOUT SENDING A TEXT TO A LAND LINE ITS EZ ALL U HAVE TO DO IS PUT THE HOUSE NUMBER IN LIKE U WOULD FOR A CELL PHONE JUST SOMETHING TO PLAY WIT

What is Text to Landline?
Text to Landline lets you send text messages, which will be converted to voice, to any landline phone in the United States.

How do I send a Text to Landline message?
Just type a text message from your Sprint PCS® Phone and enter the 10-digit phone number in the TO field as you would with a regular text message. Also see "How do I sign up for Text to Landline?".

How do I sign up for Text to Landline?
Text to Landline is available to all Sprint text messaging customers. Simply send a text message to a landline destination. Prior to delivering the first message you will receive an opt-in text message telling you that the message is destined for a landline phone.

How does it work?
The recipient's phone will ring and when it is answered your text message will be automatically read to them. If the recipient does not answer the phone your text message will be stored as voicemail. (Recipient must have a voicemail service on their landline.) Recipients can also reply to the text message and leave a message for you.

How do I know if the recipient got my message?
After sending a Text to Landline message you will receive a confirmation text message letting you know how your message was received and if the recipient left a voice response message for you.

How do I get a reply to my Text to Landline message?
On your Sprint PCS Phone you receive a text message alert that you have a reply. The message is sent with the appropriate reply phone number. By pressing TALK or the green button on your Sprint PCS Phone, or by calling the reply phone number, you can listen to the reply message. Alternatively you may receive a text message with a short text reply selected by the landline recipient after they listened to your message.

How much does it cost to send a Text to Landline message?
You will be charged your normal text message rate.

Do I need a special Sprint PCS Phone to send a Text to Landline message?
No. Text to Landline works with all text-messaging activated Sprint PCS Phones.

How much does it cost to call back to listen to your replies?
Standard calling rates apply.

Can I send Text to Landline messages to landline phones outside of the United States?
Soon Sprint will be expanding this service to deliver text messages to Canadian and other international landline phones as well.

I sent my first Text to Landline message but I never received an opt-in text message asking me to reply to send messages to landline destinations. What do I do?
Check to make sure you sent the message to a landline number. If it is a mobile number, the message will be sent as a text message to that mobile phone. If the number is a landline number, please contact us at support@telemessage.com.

I sent a Text to Landline message but the recipient never received the message. What do I do?

I sent a Text to Landline message but never received a status message. What do I do?
Check to make sure you sent the message to a landline number. If it is a mobile number the message will be sent as a text message to that mobile phone. If the number is a landline number, please contact us at support@telemessage.com.

I sent a Text to Landline message to a mobile phone. What happens?
Text messages sent to mobile numbers are sent as a text message to those mobile phones. The service does not send voice messages to mobile phones.

How long will Text to Landline attempt to leave a message to the landline phone?
The system will attempt to ring the landline number for 40 seconds (approximately seven rings) if no one answers.

If the landline number is busy or no one answers, how many times will Text to Landline attempt to redial the number?
Text to Landline will attempt two redials of the number. The first redial is five minutes after the initial attempt. The second redial is 15 minutes after the first attempt, if no one answers during the first redial attempt.

What happens if there is no answer after the 2nd redial attempt?
After the second redial attempt the message is deleted from the system and the mobile originator receives a text message stating that the message could not be delivered.

Is there a length limitation on the voice reply back to originator of the text message?
There is no limitation on the length of the voice reply.

If the landline destination has call blocking, will the text message show the Caller ID of the originator?
The transmission of Caller ID to all landline numbers throughout the country is not perfect. It is always possible that the Caller ID of the sending phone can get dropped as the call moves through different switches throughout the country. If the Caller ID is dropped the number of the originator will not be displayed or call blocking may prevent the call from being delivered.

Will all voice reply message callback numbers be to a Massachusetts number?
The callback numbers will vary, but they will always be to a Massachusetts number.

How long will the voice reply be available for callback before it is deleted?
The voice reply will be stored by Text to Landline up to five days prior to being deleted. The listener does not delete the reply message on the system.

How can I get some of my other questions answered about this application?
