View Full Version : VI-2300 & Phonebook manipulation via Bitpim

I am able to use BitPim to manage ringers and images with a new VI-2300. It will also download the phonebook. I am using the 7300 setting to do this.

The problem is that phone numbers display as the wrong type. For instance, items that are office numbers in the phone display as "cell" on the spreadsheet. "Cell" numbers display as "home" and so on.

1) Is there a way to correct this?

I have exported the phone book to a .csv file and used MS Excell to correct the entries. I can re-import the corrected .csv file back into bitpim, but when I try and upload to the phone it all craters.

I am not sure how to correct this and am looking for advice.
Thanks,
~Michael
