Question.....I have 3 phones on a family plan and all of them show my name on the caller id. Is it possible to have the actual phone users name appear when making a call? thanks

Yes, that is possible! Just had that done on my family's plan. Not sure of the character limit, because there was a letter missing from my name.....on the caller ID.

Just have to call CS, and ask about it. (as far as I know) :)

Actually, it's tech support that does that, so whenever that annoying automated service picks up, just tell it that you want tech support, and it will lead you through a menu, and in the end it will connect you to a real person. Then, tell them what you want to do, and they will do it for you. It will take about 72 hours for the new name to register.

A regular rep can do it ,and only if its a business rep because we use a back end system and it can be done

Oh, that's weird. Whenever I call Customer Service about that, they keep telling me that Tech Support does it, and I get transfered over there, so now I just have it go there from the start.
