I have the rare chance to get Moto stuff for free from my wife, she works in IT for Motorola. I have just recently started using BT (about 3 months) and have tried ALL of motorolas BT headsets as well as a few others and would have to say hands down the 500 is the best of them all. I have very sensitve ears and most all headsets/ear buds I have used ended up with me feeling like I have a bruised ear just after a short time with them on, not so with 500, I honestly dont even feel it there anymore and can wear it all day, and do. Although close to the same size as the 820 it is considerably lighter. I get NO echo effect on this as I did on the 820 and it seams to set better against your ear canal as well. Battery life is excellent more than enough to get me through an entire day as well as the standby time. All of the other headsets I have used, BT and wired, people were always able to tell I was on a hands free set. The later not being so with the new 500, I have yet to have anyone that tell the diff. between it and speaking directly into the phone. So if your looking for a good solid BT headset my vote goes to the 500. I use it on my Treo as well as my LG-325.
I give it 5 stars! :waycool:
Just my .02 worth
