My sanyo VM 4500 got stolen [Archive]

by a real idiot.... he used the camera to take pics of his g/f and child and used the video camera to make a sex video..... and uploaded it all the my picture mail.... and then even emailed it to his email address and my picture mail recorded his address....

like to steal cell phones and use them to take pics of yourself and make videos.... HA! guess what pal... i have every pic you took and the videos.... I will be plastering the town with pics of your face, that whores face and the childs face.... wow thieves really are dumb.... good day pal

oh yeah by the way.... the phone is now just a paperweight and can never be used again...

Be careful, you have the picture of a kid in what you describe a criminal action (ie stolen phone).

Now you have implicated the kid on the picture he is holding and the owner of this website and you can get into legal problems. I would take the picture of the kid out - I already got an archive of the pictures and others may be doing the same. Be careful.

I dont think so... the way i look at it the pics and vids are my property since they were taken with my phone.... you could also look at it as they became my property when he uploaded them to my webspace....

now if they guy wants the buy the pics and vid... i might be willing to sell them to him... for the price of the insurance deductible and the returning of the phone so i can get my phone book #s

Amazing how much assumption goes on here. I have a system by which just about everything I do get's archived (too long to explain). I don't have those archives any longer. My point was that others do the same thing (Google for example) and my advice as a helpful hint was to the OP that he should remove all pictures of the mimor. Just plain basic intelligence...

Now, as for the the pictures of the guy/gal, what scumb bags - they are some pretty freaking ugly people - and to have the nerve as to bring more ugly people into this world - they should be fined for bringing more ugly people into this life. Dammit, my eyes get sore looking at people like that. :scare:

Exactly - here is one VERY good reason why someone may want to archive such things - for protection.

Let's say you happen to see that guy months from now and you are not sure if it's the same person or not. If you have a copy of the pictures, you can retrieve them and verify for yourself and call the authories attention that this ~may~ be the same person who stole OP's phone. No more, no less. The cops can do the rest :bang: You are only bringing it up to the police attention like a good citizen should do.

Just got back fromt he police stations, was giving a statement to a detective. He says that he subpeona yahoo for the records on the guy's email address. He says that the guy will get arrested for petty larceny (when they find him) because not making an attempt to get the phone back to the rightful owner and using its services instead is just like stealing the phone even if you suposedly just found it...

he says it will prob take untill sept. to ge the ball rolling though... he also said to call him when i get my bill...

People steal cell phones? Hmm...where I work we were having a lot of smash and grabs. I.E. Mothers leaving there purses in their cars while bringing their children into school or helping out at school. The guy(or gang) that was doing it was good. Turn your back for 2 minutes and you would find a busted window and the purse would be gone. Out of 10 smash and grabs not one cell phone was taken. All cars had a cell phone in plain sight. Icing on the cake was when a mother that worked for the local police had her purse taken. Boy did she feel foolish. :)

You obviously aren't paying attention. I said I understood and I was only curious (As per my original question towards him) why he archived them. After that original post, he did explain it. Since then, I haven't asked again. I had only stated what I originally asked to make it more clear.

That`s mean, I know he stole that stuff but you can`t just assume that he lives in the ghetto, I mean I live in a ghetto as *** place, but me and my neighbors wel except a few, would never steal so you can`t just go to that conclusion. Plus illegal aliens wouldn`t try to steal anything because I`m sure that they know that if they get caught they will be sent back where ever they came from.

I will assume he does, and I bet he does.

Also, they are many illegal aliens sitting in California jails, a large percentage of them. Not only that, the INS doesn't even enforce our borders. Police have tried calling the INS to report illegals, they don't want them.

I guess you haven't heard of Mara Salvatrucha (MS13), a largely illegal gang, either. Perhaps one of the most violent in the country, if not the world.
