Can I upload custom ringtones that I make on my PC to the PM-325?
If so, are they WAV files or MIDI files? What software and cables do I need?
Also, can I upload pictures too?
Thanks for any help!

Ok, I would like you to read this thread (It's a sticky in this section): http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58361
For the PM-325, you can use MP3.......but, their file extension must be changed (to .mid); the thread I mentioned above will tell you how to do that.
If you use Vision on your phone (Internet), you can use an uploader to send the files to your phone. (On SprintUsers.com, we have Focus.....you'll see the link towards the top of the page) It seems that some people are having trouble with the uploaders......in that case, you can get a cable (from www.3gcables.com , for instance....an advertiser on our site).
Any question you have......feel free to post them here. :wavey:

I still need to find the program to change MP3 to 32KHz and Mono, so in the meantime I tried to send a picture. I used the re-size selection for the PM325.
It sent the text message to my phone, but when I try to go to the URL, I get the following:
906 Invalid Descriptor. Malformed Descriptor.
Any ideas why and how I might fix it?
Thanks

I get that error every single time I try to use the Focus uploader on this site... I've been using the other one @ http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/ Also, I use audacity to down-convert mp3's. It's free, though takes a little bit of fumbling to get used to its interface.. http://audacity.sourceforge.net

Thanks that helped and I'm able to upload ringers.
I am having trouble with images, though. I'm getting an "Unsupported Content Type" when I try to upload a JPG file to the PM-325.
Anything I need to know? I am using Photoshop CS and setting it to 128x160. Is there a file size limit or something?
