11 + number for voicemail not working anymore!

Mine has done this from time to time. I just reset up the favorite button and it works again.

Put that in front of a Sprint number (from your Sprint phone, of course).........and the call will go straight to that person's voicemail. (No Ringing on their phone)

so strange, when i call out of area numbers with the 11 it says incorrect code..when i call local numbers it just does a busy signal. anyone know how to reset/fix this??

I did it, it went to their voicemail, but how do I get it to check my voicemail? It only gives me the option to leave a voice message on their phone.

You'll have to call your own Sprint PCS number to check your voicemail. :) I think there was a loophole to where you could check your voicemail free by doing this but I don't think it works anymore.

If you have access to a landline (or just another phone, period), you can dial your own Sprint number........press * once you hear the voice come on......enter your passcode.....and viola!.

i have a 917, it works outside of nyc, i tried it w my friends phone and it didnt work either. UGH! anyone in the nyc area that can get it to work?

I have a 347 number and I tried it on a friends phone with a 712 (Iowa) number today. Worked just fine.

I think it doesnt work if the number you are trying to do the "11 + number" thing with is ported in from somewhere else, another carrier.

My sister brought her number into Sprint from Cingular and it doesn't work with her number.

Yep, just dial 11 and then the SPCS number and it goes straight to VM.

the number to voicemail for nextel is the area code and prefix and 6245/tmobile is 805-637-7243/from any phone.
