Hello,
I picked up a PM-325 today and have been following the instructions stickied above to get an .mp3 to play. I can get it made and uploaded to my phone, but nothing plays. Here is what im doing.

Editing .mp3 to less than 30 sec clip in garage band.
Export it to itunes, its in .aif format.
I convert it to .mp3 using itunes in the following settings:
32 kbps, MONO channels
I rename the file from ringtone.mp3 to ringtone.mid
Upload to phone
When I try to play on phone I just hear soft white noise.

Anyone gotton this to work, or some other tips I should try?
