Hello,
I'd like to know how to increase my spending limit and credit rating with Sprint. I went to the sprint store last weekend and they said it is automaticaly done, is this true? I know a few years back you were able to add money to increase spending limits. Is this not possible anymore? Forgive me if this was posted already I didn't see it. Thanks for any help you can offer. :)

The only way you could increase your spending limit right now would be adding another line, if available. Yeah, after 6 months to 1 year of payments ontime without being hotlined, they system will automatically review your credit rating and upgrade you if it can. The only way to have it manually upgraded is if you have a or b credit classes and are porting in more numbers than you are allowed, we have a number to call in those situations.

that is perfect info that is correct. it is one of the drawbacks of the credit system that i don't really agree with but that's how it is currently done. i can't wait till either the system or my CC (Credit class) change.

How do I find out what credit class I have though?

I had a problem with that, my mom's credit is horrible but they asked for $125 for each phone, they approved 2 lines so we spent 250 plus the cost of my 2 8200 phones. My wife's credit is clean, perfect, all payed on time and they only approved 2 lines also but with a deposit of 250 per line. Then a few weeks after I activated my phones someone at telesales called my wife (she works in human resources in the mayor's office) to offer a 15% disc for being municipal employes. We spoke with the guy explained everything and he called someone at credit dept and they approved the 5 lines and without deposit. Go figure... maybe the solution is by speaking with the correct person

When I called and added my Boeing employer discount to my account they had to close my account and install a new business account in order to give me the discount, when this was done, it gave me an A2 credit rating in the system, which from what I understand is the highest rating sprint assigns. So short of calling and arguing and attempting to get someone to rerun your credit, the best thing to do is to add an employer discount, again this was only my experience and who knows if it works for everyone...as with most things with Sprint, you never really know what your getting no one at sprint can give you the same answer more than once on any subject.
