how about terrel owens?

partying on his lawn and still holding out for more money, which philedelphia won't give him!

you think he'll do well if they let him back? or do you think mcnabb will hold off on him

I think McNabb is the better man and will throw the ball to TO if that's the right play, even if they're not speaking to each other outside the huddle. And I think TO is too gifted and too proud to intentionally drop the ball if it's thrown to him. There is no way even an outstanding WR should be worth more than any proven starting QB. He will come to realize that he is being paid extremely well, and no other teams are going to want him right now, so he will get back to work. But unfortunately TO doesn't know how to shut up.

EDIT How did you get up to 56 posts on your first day?!!!

T.O. needs to shut his mouth, stop wearing fatigues and doing sit-ups in his driveway, just catch the damn ball.

My husband knows T.O. is my 3rd man ( Behind my husband and Mr Gerald Levert). We met T.O. in Oakland at a comedy show and talked about 30 minutes with him and Dana Stubberfield ...They were both very nice and T.O. was different from his on camera antics, very likeable and funny.

Not quite, the eagles are a far better team than the 49ers. They would be fine if he left.

I forget what year the 49ers started going to the sh@tter. Probally after Policey left. Regardless Owens had 8 games over 100 yards receiving last year. You got to be kidding yourself if you think without Owens the Eagles will be fine. It's just like the Vikings offense won't be as good without Moss. I don't care for Moss or Owens but if my Browns got either one of them I possible might be able to put up with there bs if they help us win games. I know I changed my mind from the my last post. I like how the game was played in the old days (no show boating).

What do you mean? Dennis Rodman is around 45 right? I think he had a pretty good NBA career. I liked his entensity (sp) but I didn't care for him to much after he kicked the camera guy in the balls.

Grabbed the 10,000th rebound of his career against the Washington Bullets on 1/14/97
Recorded his first career triple-double, with 10 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists, against Philadelphia on 1/16/96

Named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team seven times (1988-89 to 1992-93, 1994-95, 1995-96) and to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1993-94

Looks like T.O. is back. First play a 64 yard td. And you eagle fans think you would be fine without him. It's funny how to grown men that are playing a game and making millions can't kiss and make up.

From what I understand, T.O. is playing fine but still not speaking with McNabb. Can I ask someone what was it that happened to stop McNabb and T.O. from speaking in the first place?

I thought I bring this thread back alive. I think T.O. is done playing for the Eagles. Eagles suspended him indefinitely and he could be suspended up to 4 games without pay. He has his 4 million dollor home on the market. Robert smith called him a coward for what he's doing. He doesn't realize that he's screwing himself out of a lot of money because why would any team want to sign him for a long term deal when he's acting the way he is. I don't understand why he crys about his contract when is the one that signed it. I wonder which team will pick him up? I don't think to many teams want to deal with his bs anymore. He did this same crap to Garcia when he played with the 49ers. I think T.O. needs to shut up or become a movie star or something.

What's up with this guy? No team is going to want him. He is very talented but a disruption to any team cohesiveness. I hope no team picks him up and teaches him a lesson.

He sure had enough warnings. The Eagles have given him more than enough rope. Let's hope EVERY NFL team refuses to talk to him. The man can still play though. I'm afraid someone will succomb.

People who work (real) jobs Will never see the amount of money he makes in one year in thier lifetime. Grow the "F" up. Play out your contract and make millions somewhere else in 2 years. But, now he may never play again. Thank God

Someone will grab T.O. if he is released because of his talent not because of his antics. In the world of sports it's always potential first character second.

no..T.O.= ass hat

now ESPN is reporting that apparently on Wednsday he had an actual fistfight with a former eagles player..and the funny part is that they are saying it was only part of the reason he was suspended...what a clown

TO is only as good as the person throwing him the ball

Considering that McNabb only had Freddy Pinkston and James Thrash to throw to the seasons before TO came along, yet made it to the NFC championship games, I can't say McNabb is the liability here. Figure in that TO was out for most of the playoffs last year, I can't say TO was the crucial difference, either.

And as to the antics that's been going on since the Superbowl last year, you might be able to blame the media for fanning the flames. I, however, am rather a firm believer in the idea that what leaves a person's lips is entirely the responsibility of that person alone - unless you're being tortured. If T.O. gets picked up again, it's going to be under a LOT of stipulations.

T.O. has only begun to reap the whirlwind.
