I really wish that if there were system outages or issues we could log into a web site that Sprint maintained letting us know what was going on and that they were aware of it. I know other types of companies have this system. The internet company I used to use a while back would post system outages or issues on a site and we could go in and see the progress. That way I wouldnt have to come in here and ask if anyone else was having the same problem I was having.. I could look it up my damn self! Oh, well.. in a perfect world..

I don't know that it is Sprint alone. I am having trouble with TMO and Verizon phones today.

I don't know that it is Sprint alone. I am having trouble with TMO and Verizon phones today.Indeed, I only vaguely understand the true underbelly of intercarrier SMS, but my understanding is that it is a huge mess and that most US carriers delegate (i.e. punt) the handling of routing SMS messages that are destined to other carriers to one or two 3rd party companies that specialize in handling intercarrier SMS. So obviously a hit or hiccup at one of these SMS routing companies would screw up the apparent delivery of SMS for everyone, and the carriers themselves would have no control over the situation.

Well, so far today I've been getting my txts in a timely manner. And because I was able to once again get my flirt on, I've got a date tonight! :headbang2 Thank you, Mr. SMS! Ugh.. that was stoopid.. but I guess that's what being at work does to you. :bang:
