hey guys i got a new phone and i want to clear all the memory and stuff off my 8100 to sell it on ebay. how would i go about doing that? thanks

to clear all the memory u need to go to the menu, settings, and then security... u will have to enter the security code which is usually the last four of your phone number unless u changed it

Thanks Lexington, that helped. Now hoiw do I erase all the phone data itself like my number and username ainfo and stuff? would that be unlocking it? Thanks again

i really dont know of any way that you could erase that unless somebody connects it under their name in which their info would be displayed

I think you would want to go to sprint for that. I tried to "hack" my 8100 and I forgot the number I entered - now I can't access it :\

but to answer the question:

get the MSL, key in ##786# or options>save phone number on an 8100
scroll to reset default
enter MSL
VOILA. Factory fresh.
