Ok. I'll try a second subject; perhaps someone out there knows what's going on when you access your Yahoo eMail utilizing Spint's Vision package. When I used to access my Yahoo email on my Sprint cell phone (Sanyo 8100) I could go to an "in-box" screen which showed all of my messages. Adjacent to each message was a small box which I could "check" to open the message or delete it or move it to a specific folder. This was great as it allowed me to delete junk mail without opening it. Now when I go to my Yahoo eMail account using Sprint's Vision package I have to open each and every message before I can delete it. I've asked the tech at our local Sprint store if he knew what had happened; e.g., did Yahoo change something or did Sprint change something? He didn't even realize that you could read your Yahoo eMail on your Sprint cell phone if you had the Vision package! So much for knowledgeble techs! I tried calling customer service and all I got was some chick in Jamaica or Sri Lanka or Aruba where English was (and still is) a second language. So much for that try at an answer. Does anyone know why the Yahoo eMail screen was changed?
Generally I haven't had any problems with Sprint except when I've called Customer Service; they can't speak English and all they want to do is sign you up for some additional service or Sprint for your home phone. Twice, I've had to go into my local store to get a service removed from my account that I hadn't requested but that mysteriously appeared on my monthly invoice shortly after talking to Customer Service on the phone; I believe this is called "slamming". The rep in the local store knew what was going on and apologized after removing the unrequested service.
