i got the sanyo8200, how do i get the warranty for this phone.. and wut is covered by the 5 dollar a month insuarnce that sprint offers?

i got the sanyo8200, how do i get the warranty for this phone.. and wut is covered by the 5 dollar a month insuarnce that sprint offers?
Sprint knows if you activated a new in the box phone that its covered for one year on the warranty. The $5/ lockline insurance covers most anything from a cracked screen to a bad wire to losing the phone or having it stolen. If a sprint store determines the problem to be electrical in nature you are supposed to have the phone replaced for $10. If the problem is other than electrical, a $50 charge applies. You are not guaranteed the exact same phone, just one with similar features under a warranty or "lock/line" insurance replacement.
I've had insurance on both of my lines sonce 2001(?) and had to make one claim. Some people on here expect to be upgraded because they lost their phone or threw it against the wall because their girlfriend pissed them off, but you get a similar phone with similar features.
Follw the "lock/line" catagory of the forums for more information on the company and the amount of time you have to add it to your plan on a new phone.
Perhaps this has given the OP enough info and the thread should be linked to a question on lockline?

it comes with a 1 year warranty...the manual tells you what it covers
the $5 plan covers anything that happens to your phone....as long as you pay the deductable
