help, dialup through bluetooth w/pm-325 is horribly slow, and keeps timing out after a few moments.

I heard from someone you can do a "ping test" to keep it alive, so i did a
sprintping.cmd which i run
:ping
ping www.google.com
goto ping

Reply from 64.233.187.104: bytes=32 time=3608ms TTL=231
Reply from 64.233.187.104: bytes=32 time=3659ms TTL=231
Reply from 64.233.187.104: bytes=32 time=4314ms TTL=231
Reply from 64.233.187.104: bytes=32 time=3721ms TTL=231

this seems to keep it alive, but seems idiotic. how do i get around this?
