After I got this phone, I registered it on the Samsung website to get 20% off the accessories to get the stereo earphones, the case and the car charger. I kind of wished I got a spare battery too since it would have costed only about $32. Oh well. They have free shipping too BTW.

Any how, now I have had them for little over a week now, so I figured I'd share my impression. I still haven't gotten a chance to try out the car charger, so I'll skip the review on the charger. I'm sure it does what supposed to though. The charger does look on a little flimsy/cheap side, but then it was cheap.

First the ear buds.

It's a stereo earphone that can also be used as handsfree headset. The wires to the earbuds are of different lengths so that the speaker piece hangs on one side of your face.
The speaker piece also has a volume control dial and the turbo button.

The volume control does what it does. You can turn the volume down enough to hear what's going on around you, but it doesn't turn down the sound completely.

The turbo button launches the voice command on the phone and also can disconnect calls. The speaker is of decent quality but not stellar. When it was windy, the voice command had some trouble understanding some commands sometimes. I didn't have any problem conversing though even in rather noisy environments.

I have to mention that I love the voice command module on a800. With the voice guided menu, I could make all the calls without taking the phone out of my case, though I probably look pretty funny yelling out "call xxx, yes, mobile," walking down the street.

The earpiece themselves have pretty good sound quality. The music had nice tonal range without distortion. However, it can be kinda hard to hear clearly when it was windy outside.

Now the case

The case is pretty well padded, and the case can feel a bit bulky. Wear a T-shirt over it, and you might look like you have a gigantic rectangular tumor on your side.
The phone fits in pretty snug, and the lining inside the case is relatively smooth faux velvet. I don't think the phone will get scratched up because of the case.

The belt clip's nothing special but a standard fare. The phone hasn't fallen off yet, but I wish it also had loops for belt.

The flap on the case closes with a velcro, and it feels secure to me. Though, it'd been nicer if it was a buckle.

The flap has an opening to connect the earphone to the phone. The bottom of the case also has a hole, and you can position your phone so that the volume keys can be exposed. However, since the earphone jack is on the same side as the volume control, you won't be able to connect your earphone then,

Well, that's about it.
