I have configured my Treo 600 with Sprint Biz Con to receive my gmail and it works, but... even though I set and save my preferences in Gmail to download all messages.. it downloads them once and then when i re-sync my Treo it wipes out all the messages on the phone and somehow resets my gmail preferences on my PC to" download only messages received after XXXpm."
Any ideas as to what i am doing wrong?
Thanks,
bruce

I am assuming when you say re-sync you mean handheld to you desktop( computer). I don't have any knowledge about the hot syncing portion of the treo's and the software it uses but call sprint data support and asked to be X-fered to Tier 2 if it happens after performing a hot sync. You may attempt a soft reset and see if the problem continues. If that doesn't help then search on doing a hard reset ( be careful a hard reset will remove all data from your handheld aka treo 600; so I suggest backing everything up on your desktop by performing a hot sync from handheld to desktop). Hopefully this helps you out a little bit.

I have gmail set up to receive through Biz Conn as well, but it sends mail through my main account. Is there a way to set up the gmail outgoing server?

Have you tried the GMail help? It has the settings for outgoing server.

I have never been able to get the SMTP for gmail to work as they have it posted on the site, it always tell me that its an invalid SMTP. I got around the problem by using the SMTP site for my service, in my case smtp.sprintpcs.com , and then using the password as my sprint e-mail password. No SSL encryption is required in my case, and as far as I know in any case, but dont quote me, im not sure.
Parhaps that could help?

Is Biz Con free push email for Gmail? If so where can I get it?
