Samsung a880 Leather Case

I have the leather case for my Samsung a880 and recently returned it since the portion of the phone with the keypad kept sliding out of the plastic housing on the leather case.

Got a new one and it is doing the same thing. As well as if you try using the keypad while it is in the leather case (plastic over the keypad), it is really easy to get the key you press as well as one of the surrounding keys. To use the keypad successfully you really need to remove it from the plastic housing of the case.

Has anyone else been using the leather case or have any other suggestions on what would be better?

That sucks about the leather case. See, I was just thinking about that too. Stupid Sprint didn't even bother to make a leather case especially for the 880. Yeah, they did the size but forgot about the keypad. Grrrr. I'd go with one of these cases:

You'd have to take your phone out to answer a call but at least your phone will be protected. :) I want to try a holster but I'm afraid that it might pop out and fall to the ground. Not into the leather cases so I might pick up one these. Plus they got different colors! :)

Everyone I have known with a holster has had the phone fall out of it.

The leather case is what has protected them the best, IMO, but this one for the 880 has room for improvement.

Was it a Sprint holster because from what I've experienced Sprint holsters tend to be made for the phone with an extended battery. My 7400 would pop out onto the ground every so often. That is why I don't want to get the Sprint holster for my 880. I'd rather wait for Radio Shack to come out with one since their holsters seem to fit right. At least I know it won't fall out.
