when will sprint add vision for there nokias. they have a browser why dont they support vision?? im thinking about getting the 6016 because ive heard and had experience and found out that they are tough and excellent reception phones. i just wish it had vision on it. do you think that the sanyo 4920 is anything compared to the 6016. we're talking up in the middle of no where up in the north woods getting no service with the exception of 1 bar standing on the end of the dock with one foot in the air and your arm sticking out.

Who knows.... But the 6016 is a "voice only" phone though, which obviously means no vision. Sammy and sanyo are the top in the sprint phone line up

The 6016i, like the 6015i for Verizon, is capable of 1xRTT data and can have a web browser built-in, but for some reason both Sprint and Verizon chose to not have that capability enabled, likely due to the very low-resolution of the screen on those phones.

I recently switched to the Nokia 6016i out of necessity. Prior to that I was using the Sanyo PM 8200 & a Sanyo 4900. I was actually surprised that the 4900 could not do the job I needed it to because it has a great reputation. I live in a low area and I just was not getting the reception. The Nokia 6016i solved my problem and does not drop calls or go in to analog roaming searching for a signal. It is interesting how Sprint's least expensive phone gets the best reception. I sure do miss my vision, camera, and other toys though.
