Replaced my 8200 with a Graphite 2300 almost 2 wks ago. I'm well-pleased with this new phone. Excellent reception, speaker phone works very well, much better than my 8200, especially when the phone is closed. As has already been reported, the t9 has several new and convenient features, the phone has emoticons (which don't translate properly on my wife's 8200) and is indeed very durable. It adds a stopwatch, and an update phone function which, according to the radio shack guy, isn't up on the Sprint end yet. The browser is reasonably quick, the screen is sharp but a little small, and none of the games I had on the 8200 will work on the 2300 (including the NY Times, which is unavailable on this model). Ebay, however, works just fine. It receives picture mail and will assign pics to the phone book for photo id, or as screensavers; pics I had on my pc actually look sharper and clearer as screensavers on this phone than they did on my 8200. If you don't need or want a camera, or any of the new multi-media stuff, this phone is well the price. One final note-Sanyo returned to the flat blade charger with this model, although it also has a universal plug.
