Ok now that I have internet working I can give my review. I've only had the phone for two days so I haven't become totally familiar or use to it yet (especially since I used Samsung for 2.5 years).

Earpiece volume and clarity is excellent and much better than my A680 was and a little better than my A500 (which until now was the best I had ever used). LG appears to have hit the nail on the head with their sound quality techniques on Sprint phones.

Speakerphone is super! It's full duplex and sounds much better than the Sanyo 8200/7300 speakerphone. However you have to have the phone open to use it unlike the 8200/7300. Not a big deal for me though.

Ringer volume is loud and clear and I can actually hear the phone ring when it's in my pocket and I'm in a semi-noisy enviroment. The A680 had a very weak ringer speaker.

Reception is as good or better than any other phone I've used. I've never really noticed much difference among Sprint phones like other Sprint users like to claim.

Keypad is awesome. The buttons feel strong and light up well and they are well placed. The A680 had an unevenly lit keypad and some buttons felt a little loose or wobbly.

Battery life so far is noticeably better than my A680 although I haven't had the phone long enough to say how much better yet. The battery charging meter has 4 bars instead of 3 which I like.

It's nice having an Openwave browser now. No more weird errors when surfing certain web pages like my A680 often had with the older Samsung browser. Web speed appears to be very quick.

I haven't used the camera yet because I've been too busy dealing with the Vision problem. I don't expect the camera to take great pictures but I'm sure it will be good enough for what I need.

Ok now for the negative:

Size is a little bigger than what I'm use to.

I read on one of the forums that picture caller ID can only be used on the internal screen. Haven't checked that out yet.

When set to "roaming only" mode the phone will lock on to "analog" instead of favoring digital like other Sprint phones with the "roaming only" option set. It appears that LG simply goofed and renamed "analog roam" to "roaming only". Probably a software bug that they could fix with a future release but not very likely to happen.

That's all I can think of for now. If anything else comes up as I get more familiar with the phone I will post.
