One thing Sprint lacks is rugged phones. I for one never wanted a sleek silver flip phone, I wanted a bar phone that was built tough, not pretty. The best I could do at the time was the Sany 4700. Wow, that phone lasted me forever:

When I was finally through with it you couldn't read any of the buttons and it hardly had any silver left on it. So when it was time to get something else I was very pleased to see the Sany 7200 available:

Now this is a beast of a phone. It's a bar phone which rocks, and also it is built rugged and tough. I couldn't be happier with it. Problem is I know one day I'll want to upgrade and the thing is I would do that sooner if more options were available. When I see people sporting there Nextel phones I notice some really well built bar phones and flip phones as well. When I look at the Sprint lineup all I see is pretty silver. I know that is the most popular, but there is also a market for tough phones with rubber grips.
The 7200 isn't even available anymore through Sprint, but I got mine brand new via Ebay. Great purchase. I'm interested in getting the extended battery but it's like $60 on Sprint.com. I don't mind spending money but I just got a deal on the Body Glove case for $2.99 on Ebay when the same product was still on Sprint.com for like $30! So I'd love to snag that battery for a deal as well.
Well i hope Sany will bring one or two more rugged phones to the marketplace.
