How do YOU use Vision?

Hi all,

I just got a Sanyo MM-7400 and am trying out Vision for the free month. It's kinda fun to mess around with, but I'm still trying to figure out if it's worth it to me. So... I'm curious to hear how all of you use it, what you find indispensable, and how you justify paying for it (or for those of you that get it free on a retention plan, how *would* you justify paying for it if you had to). I use it along with reqwireless' emailviewer to check email all the time from my phone...also check sports scores, movie times, and have used mapquest when lost in the car on occasion...also useful for weather and news...as well as browsing forums like this one, which allow WAP access...I get vision free on all my lines from an old plan, but would probably pay for it even if I didn't...

Well I use my vision to send and recieve pictures as well as upload pics to manage my album. I do check the weather and do some chatting, but not too much since I have a sidekick as well. I like to download ringers/screen savers frequently. Some people use their phone as a modem.. It all depends on your liking and personal preference. Hope I have been some sort of help...

I use Bluetooth to wirelessly connect them both....and use the Vision connection for my Clie's Internet. :)

I wish someone would hold a vision class. I only download ringers and send pictures..but I do think it is worth keeping vision. I have no idea how to find my email and check movie times...that would be fun to do.

i use my vison to download, check my account usage, get on sprintusers, send pictures, check movie listings, wheather, so much more

On ya main page hit 1 for mesaging then 2 for email and u will see the different email client links, or you could do it manually by going to the url in your phone. For movies hit 6 for entertainment on the vision homepage, then 2 for hollywood.com then go from there...

I use it to upload my pictures, picturemail, download screensavers, download ringtones, check out the forums, get weather and mapquest info, also used google a while back for directory assistance! Vision makes my phone happy ;-).

how exactly you do that? I tried the Got To URL on my phone and then I got Inssuficient memory. Restart browser. How you do it?

I used to use Vision as a toilet paper to wipe my..... nevermind. I used vision when I'm sitting in my throne taking care of my business. I don't anymore. I got the MiniSD for that now.

Is there a particular e-mail service that works especially well with Vision? Or WAP in general? I host my own e-mail, so I might have to forward it elsewhere to pick it up via a phone-friendly interface.

Do all the above and use it as a modem(BT DUN), transfer funds and check bank accounts, read work e-mail, read comcast e-mail... :headbang2

My most frequent usage of Vision ? Looking up movie reviews at www.imdb.com while at Blockbuster, trying to decide what movies to rent...

As an academic, I'm often caught in a boring lecture/seminar, so Vision really helps, allowing email, websurfing, and even AIM.

Finally, while traveling, Vision is very helpful during the long waits in airports, and (horrors), casual Internet usage with my laptop in hotels and conferences/conventions.

I like Yahoo's WAP interface the best, I use it to send mail when I'm away from my home computer. I have Yahoo set to check my regular ISP's mail so I can check it from my phone, too.

I use my vision to stream movies, tv, mp3's and trying to get radio recently onto my MM-7400.

I thought you get charged on top of vision to use AIM...
