I Have A Friend Who Has Sprint And Was Thinking Of Getting Cingular. If A Person Has Two Or More Providers Then What Happens If Say He Decides To Just Not Pay One Of The Bills? Does That Affect The Other Carrier As Far As Credit Rating Is Concerned? Thanks

It shouldn't affect the other carrier, but it will change their credit rating. It's best to pay all the bills, just to keep your credit clean.

if he picks up the second carrier while his credit is clean, then it should not affect the credit rating that carrier gives him...however, his overall credit rating will get f cked if he lets one of the plans lapse without paying...it would be an unbelievably stupid thing to do...you are better off finding a way to pay the $150 ETF to maintain clean credit...bad credit over time will end up costing your friend a lot more than the $150 fee (via higher interest rates on mortgage, loans, etc)...
$150 aint crap compared to thousands of dollars spent on legal advice or lawyers just to repair your credit. All items on your credit report stay with you for 7 long years. Bad credit equals higher interest ratings. Let me know if im correct.

you are 100% correct...bad credit definitely equals much higher interest rates on a lot of things, assuming you can even get loans...
