Sanyo 8300 holster

Has anyone been able to buy the clear holster listed on the Sprintcs.com accessories page. If so, how is it.

I've seen the holster for the 8300. On the package it says the clear holster is for the 200, 2300, 8300. I want to buy it but I'm wondering if it's going to be like the holster for the 7400 because I had that before and my phone fell out many times. It wasn't secure at all. Maybe it was made for the phone with an extended battery. Someone on here said it worked better and never popped out of the holster.

Hey I've got a question for you since you work at Sprint. Ok long before the 8300 came out on the packages of the holsters for the 200 and 2300 it said 8300 on them too. Now I see in the Sprint Store a separate holster for the 8300. Did the holster size change for the 8300?

I just went and bought a leather case today. Reason I bought the leather case was because the holster for the 2300 and 200 DOES NOT fit the 8300. the leather case is compatible for all three but the holster is not

the 8300 doesn't fit 200 & 2300 holster? how so? too big? too small? hmm maybe that's why i don't see those packages anymore where it's says all 3 fit the holster.

It didn't have anything on top to lock it into place. The size appeared very close but the 8300 doesn't have the groove on the top right side where it is in the holster so nothing locked it into place. It was clear it wasn't going to work unless you duct taped it in there....I'm guessing that would defeat some of the purpose ..hehe

The leather case does have all three models on it and does work. The only thing I do not like about the case is unlike the leather case for most camera phones, the camera lens is covered in plastic when in the leather case, instead of having an opening for the camera and the outside lcd being covered. This covers all of it with only holes for the speaker. Interested and the jury is out for me whether I like it or not.

MM 8300 HOLSTER FROM SANYO .......DONT BUY IT................it looks good, but does,ent hold the phone well at all, it has a very poor retention clip on top, its a piece of JUNK.............................if u use it u will destroy your phone due to unexpected falls

02/06/06.....................IMPORTENT UPDATE.................. I remember someone mentioning that the holster that sprint supplys for the mm 8300 is made for use with the extended battery,................well I went out and bought the extended battery to see if this was true, after installing the new battery,I placed my phone in the holster again,and was very pleased to see that it now holds the phone very secure WHY DOES,ENT SPRINT SPECIFY FOR USE WITH EXTENDED BATTERY ONLY...........by the the way, Radio Shack carries the extended batterys in all 3 colors, to the tune of $75 ..............
